The Wave
The north and south jetties plus frequent dredge sand placement create shifting peaks and a near-point peel off the north jetty tip - beware the rotten, deteriorating concrete if paddling out.
Expect the cleaner peaks on E/SE to E groundswells with light N-NW offshore winds.
Tide mid-range is commonly reported as most reliable for shape while very low or very high tides often flatten the bite.
