The Wave
The mouth sits on a cobble/gravel bar and channels quickly after river discharge, producing punchy, changeable peaks and a sensitive shoreline - expect shifting takeoff zones and occasional exposed cobbles.
When it works the spot prefers powerful W-NW long-period swell with southerly winds (offshore) and low-to-mid tides that expose the point.
High tides tend to soften or close the peaks.
